It’s not a fad, it’s not a bandwagon, it’s change.

We cannot blame the big banks,
We cannot blame the corporations,
We can only blame our faith in a system that clearly doesn’t work.
In history, there has always been a battle between those dawning a new age, 
and those holding on to tradition.
People think this battle is between the rich and the poor,
Or big banks and corporations against the people.
But again it’s our faith in the system that causes all of this.
It’s our continual faith in money for generations and generations.
Every television show we watch, every magazine we read,
is a reinforcement in the faith in money.
Every time we sit in traffic, 
fill up our tanks,
go to work,
pay rent,
we put our dreams aside,
we put our lives aside.
We sacrifice our lives to the system.
It’s modern-day slavery.
Money holds more faith than any one religion, or any one state of mind or idea.
It even overrides the universal pursuit of happiness.
The world is ass-backwards these days.
I can’t propose a plan of action or how to run the world,
But I can tell you that there has to be a better way.
And as if I had to ask this question..
Does anyone else feel the same way?
Is there anybody out there?
